Duquesne City School District

The Duquesne City School District is accepting applications for a dynamic Business Manager. The successful candidate must be knowledgeable in budgeting, financial planning, cash management, governmental accounting, federal and state reporting requirements related to school finance, school operations, bidding, fund accounting, and taxation issues. Experience in transportation, school safety, food service, school construction and facilities management would be preferred. Responsibilities include collective bargaining and contract administration, purchasing, insurance, investments, debt service, accounting, transportation contract management, school safety, implementing unified grand guidance regulations and food service. The minimum requirements are:

- A bachelor's degree in business administration, business management, accounting or similar related discipline is required. A master's degree or CPA is strongly preferred.

- Three years of experience in a Pennsylvania school district as a business manager and/or equivalent experience with business and administrative functions in a Pennsylvania school district.

- At least two years of experience in a supervisory capacity.
