JOB FAIR September 27, 2017: 1 p.m.-3 p.m. at 7175 Highland Ave. Pittsburgh, Pa 15206 Pittsburgh Job Corps Center is now hiring for the following positions!
  • Academic Instructor (including substitute positions)
  • Heavy Highway Construction Instructor
  • Healthcare Orientation Instructor
  • Recreation Specialist
  • Food Service Worker
  • Residential Living (Dormitory) Advisor (including substitute positions)
  • Security Officer (including substitute positions)
  • Librarian (part-time)
  • Student Government Specialist
  • Life Skills Specialist/Instructor
  • Nursing Aid Program Instructor (RN) All positions require a minimum of a high school diploma or equivalent. Academic and Healthcare Orientation Instructor position requires PA teaching certification. All other Instructor positions require PA teaching certification or accreditation by a professional trade organization. Life Skills Specialist/Instructor, Librarian and Recreation Specialist positions require an Associate's degree. Evening, weekend/holiday hours are required for Residential, Recreation, and Security positions. A valid driver's license required for all positions, except Food Service. Recreation Specialist position must have or be able to obtain CDL license with passenger endorsement. Working with young adults necessary.
