Black Box Network Services seeks a Technical Support Engineer for its office in Lawrence, PA to be responsible for utilizing various diagnostic tools to identify & investigate the root causes of hardware, software, network & connectivity issues & provide thorough diagnostic & troubleshooting services to resolve client issues, particularly as related to offerings linked to Cisco product partnership. Reqs Bachelor's degree in Electrical Eng'g, Electronics Eng'g, or related field plus one year exp in the job offered or related occup. Also requires exp in the Technology Services or Managed Service Provider industry; production environment exp consisting of directly managing routers, switches, global & local load balancing, SSL acceleration, HTTP compression/caching, & DNS in a high-availability infrastructure; knowledge of cabling, LAN, WAN, DNS based Global Server Load Balancing (GSLB) theory as well as legacy networking technologies & system interdependencies; & experience configuring Cisco Unified Communications & Voice networks & Virtualization. Position allows incumbents to work from home in any U.S. state.
